                      Faculty Positions for International Talents at CSU

                      Academic Leaders

                      1.      Distinguished professor of Yangtze River Scholar

                      2.      Awardees of National Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars (Level A)

                      3.      Leading scholars included in Ten Thousand Scholars Plan in philosophy and social sciences

                      Salaries and Benefits

                      •            Annual salary: 500,000 RMB per year (after tax);

                      • Housing subsidies or settle-in allowance: 1 million RMB (after tax);

                      • Research Start-up Fund: 4~6 million RMB (after tax) for scientific research areas, 2 million RMB(after tax) for humanities

                        and social sciences;

                      • Appoint professor position as Level II;

                      • Provide relevant positions: 1-2 lecturers position and 1-2 PHD candidates;

                      • Provide accommodation for transition period (up to 2 years);

                      • Provide job arrangement for spouse.

                      1. Selectees of 1000 Young Scholars Plan

                      2. Young Yangtze River scholars

                      3. Outstanding young talents included in Ten Thousand Scholars Plan

                      4. Awardees of National Fund for Excellent Young Scholars

                      Salaries and Benefits

                      • Annual salary: 300,000 RMB per year (after tax);

                      • Housing subsidies or settle-in allowance: 600,000 or 800,000 RMB (after tax);

                      • Research Start-up Fund: 2~4 million RMB (after tax) for research areas in scientific, engineering and medicine; 800,000 RMB

                        (after tax)

                        for humanities and social sciences (or counterpart fund at 1:1 according to National Scientific Funding Standard);

                      • Appoint as distinguished professor position;

                      • Provide relevant 1 Ph.D candidate position;

                      • Provide accommodation for transition period (up to 2 years);
